One last block to do and it is a doozy. The last corner took me forever to do as did all of the stars within stars. Well here goes, the last one. I don't know whether to be happy or just a little bit sad having come to the end of the blocks. Each one was a fun experience with the doldrums of finishing off a quilt not happening as quickly as most other quilts. Let's see if I can make the last block faster than the previous one took me.

The weather here is freezing so it is good to have something fun to do and stay warm.
Have a good one!
This is soooooo beautiful. Great job at getting this close to "flimsy". :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, it has been fun.
DeleteI always feel a bit sad and happy when I finish a quilt top too, and it often takes me a month or so before I feel as if I can start on a new project.
ReplyDeleteLuckily I now have to do all the sashings, then put it together and the finally quilt it. I always use this time (it normally takes me about 3 months) to get excited about my next project.
