DeleteFinishing a DJ is an amazing accomplishment! Yours is beautiful - congratulations! I have about 60 DJ blocks in my closet, and am not sure if they will ever become a quilt.
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling well. Just keep on making those little blocks.
DeleteGreat achievement. Excellent.. Love the colours you used.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy can you tell me a little more about the marking pencils you used. I am about to start HQ a very large quilt. :-)
ReplyDeleteI previously added a comment about your gorgeous quilt, but it got lost in cyberspace! Your quilt is amazing, very well done!
ReplyDelete,
The Chalk pencils are "General quilting Pencils" they work amazingly well. I also do the blue marking pen as I find that it does not fade too quickly. Did you see the blog I did about everything in my quilt box? I will add a picture of the pencils as there has been more than one question about markers. I do agree though, I has taken me forever to find ones that work. Have a look at: http://kathys-quilt-corner.blogspot.com/2014/04/happy-easter-2014.html
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! It gives me encouragement to start working on mine again. The colors are magnificent!
